The reporter recently learned from the Department of Science and Technology of Anhui Province that the national science and technology support plan "Cement Production Process Waste Heat Power Generation Technology and Equipment Development" project undertaken by Anhui Province has achieved important results and has been successfully promoted and applied to 208 cement clinker production lines at home and abroad. The principle of cement kiln waste heat power generation is to use the waste heat discharged from the kiln head and tail in the cement production process to generate power, which can increase the comprehensive heat utilization rate of cement production from 60% to more than 90%, and the energy saving, emission reduction and economic benefits are very obvious. The project of "waste heat power generation technology and equipment development in cement production process" is jointly implemented by Conch Group, University of Science and Technology of China and other units.

The implementation of the project has formed a complete set of cement low-temperature waste heat power generation technology, realized the safe, stable and efficient operation of the waste heat power generation system and the cement kiln, and the power generation per ton of clinker reached 42 degrees, and the self-power supply rate of the cement clinker process reached 60%, the energy consumption per unit product dropped by 18%, and the investment per kilowatt-hour installed capacity was reduced from 9000 yuan to less than 6600 yuan. A series of design standards for waste heat power generation projects supporting cement production lines with different production capacities have been formed, 22 intellectual property rights have been declared, 3 authorized invention patents and 10 utility model patents have been obtained. According to estimates, the total installed capacity of cement waste heat power generation promoted and applied at home and abroad in our province has reached 1734 MW, and the designed annual power generation is about 13.2 billion kWh, which can save about 4.75 million tons of standard coal and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 12 million tons. The benefits are very significant.
