The air conveying chute is a device that conveys particulate material along a pipeline by air flow. There are three types: suction type, pressure type and mixed type. Its working principle is to use the kinetic energy of the airflow to suspend the granular material along the pipeline with the airflow:

① Suction type. After the exhaust fan is started, the whole system presents a certain degree of vacuum. Under the action of pressure difference, the air flow makes the material enter the suction nozzle and send it to the separator at the discharge along the material conveying pipe. The material is separated from the gas stream and discharged from the bottom of the separator. The airflow is cleaned by a dust collector and then discharged into the atmosphere through a muffler. The advantage is that the feed is simple and the material can be absorbed from multiple places at the same time. However, the conveying distance is short and the productivity is low. High sealing requirements.

② Press the feed type. The blower presses air into the conveying pipe, and the material is supplied by the feeder. The mixture of air and material is pressed along the conveying pipe to the unloading position. The material is discharged after the separator. The air is discharged into the atmosphere after being purified by the dust collector. In contrast to the suction type, the material can be transported to multiple places at the same time. The conveying distance is long and the productivity is high, but the structure is complicated.

③ Hybrid power. It is a combination of the above two forms.

Technical performance of air delivery chute:

1. Conveying material status: dry powder or powder particles with a particle size of less than 3-6mm and easy to expand, the surface moisture is allowed to be about 0% or 8%, otherwise it will cause blockage or even blockage.

2. Conveying capacity: The conveying capacity of the chute is affected by many factors and often changes greatly. According to the theoretical calculation and the actual use of a comprehensive analysis.

Because the air conveying chute has no moving parts in the process of conveying materials, compared with the belt conveyor, screw conveyor and scraper conveyor with the same power, it has the advantages of less wear, convenient maintenance, low power consumption, less material consumption, no noise, good sealing, simple structure, safe and reliable operation, and easy to change the direction of material flow.
