Keep up with the development of technology, the valve standard committee organized the development of the "ceramic seal valve" (JB/T10925-2005) standard, accelerate the promotion of ceramic sealing technology, promote the development of ceramic sealing materials.

In terms of reducing energy consumption, vigorously develop valve products with low flow resistance and low loss. In terms of power saving, the focus is on the electric device of the valve, through the selection of low energy consumption and low noise motor, as well as the improvement of the structure of the electric device, control the energy consumption of the electric device.

(3) Actively participate in international standard activities to speed up the transformation of international standards for valves

The world has entered a period of economic globalization, and the inevitable trend of economic globalization is the internationalization of standards. Through the study of the correlation between ISO standard and China's valve standard, we have an overall understanding of the standard adoption of valve standards in China, determine the direction of adoption, and increase the intensity of standard adoption. At the same time, strive for substantive participation in the work of international standardization, integrate Chinese standards into international standards, and strive for the right to speak and dominate international standards. Due to historical reasons and regional reasons, the current ISO/TC153 "valve" has been formed in Europe and the United States as the main body of the pattern. Therefore, on the one hand, the National Valve Standards Committee actively participates in and hosts international standards conferences; on the other hand, it actively sends our experts to join the standards committee "TC", sub-committee "SC" and standard working group "WC" of international organizations, takes the vote of the draft international standard seriously, and provides the articles favorable to our country to the ISO/TC153 Secretariat, so that international standards can reflect our reasonable requirements.

(4) Improve the safety of valve products and ensure the safety of equipment and personnel.

Many valves are used in pressure pipes, safety is very important. The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China promulgated the "Special Equipment Safety Technical Specifications". As a kind of pressure pipeline components, valves are also included in special equipment. Valve products caused by safety accidents, there are two main reasons, one is the product did not meet the standard requirements, such as shell wall thickness requirements, welding joint inspection requirements, material requirements, etc., another reason is the installation, improper use. The National Valve Standards Committee has always attached importance to the safety requirements of product standards. These requirements are cited in the "Special Equipment Safety Technical Specification" and become mandatory requirements to maximize the safety of equipment and personnel. Valve Standards Committee in recent years has applied for the development of the "valve shell minimum wall thickness size requirements specification", "industrial valve installation and maintenance of general requirements" and other standards. The safety requirements of valve product standards and the revision of valve safety standards will be a focus of future work.
