Working principle of air conveying chute

Air conveying chute can be used for cement, fly ash and other easily fluidized powder materials. The tank uses a high-pressure centrifugal fan as a power source to keep the material in the closed conveying chute flowing slowly at the inclined end under fluidization, and the main part of the equipment has no transmission part. The new coated wheel breathable layer, sealing operation and management is convenient, the equipment is light in weight, low power consumption, large conveying force, easy to change the conveying direction.

The air conveying chute uses airflow to convey bulk materials along the pipeline. There are three types of suction, pressure and mixing. Its working principle is to use the kinetic energy of the airflow to make the bulk materials in a suspended state and transport along the pipeline with the airflow:

① Suction and delivery type. After the exhaust fan is started, the whole system has a certain degree of vacuum, and the air flow makes the material enter the suction nozzle under the action of the pressure difference. And it is sent to the separator at the unloading place along the conveying pipe. The materials are separated from the air flow and discharged from the bottom of the separator. The air flow is purified by the dust collector and then discharged into the atmosphere through the muffler. The advantage is that the feeding is simple, the material can be sucked from several places at the same time, but the conveying distance is short, the productivity is low, and the sealing requirement is high.

② Presentation type. The blower presses air into the conveying pipe, and the material is supplied from the feeder. The mixture of air and material is pressed and sent to the unloading place along the conveying pipe. The material is discharged after passing through the separator, and the air is discharged into the atmosphere after being purified by the dust collector. The characteristics are opposite to the suction type. The material can be transported to several places at the same time. The conveying distance is longer, the productivity is higher, but the structure is complex.

③ Mixed. A combination of the above two forms.

Note: The device is not suitable for materials with large particle size, high moisture and poor fluidization.
