The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology launched the evaluation of projects under construction in the cement industry.

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced on the 15th that in accordance with the "guidance of the State Council on resolving the contradiction of serious overcapacity" (Guofa [2013] No. 41), the relevant local provincial governments or their authorized departments have successively submitted application reports for projects under construction in the cement and flat glass industries that are really necessary. In order to properly identify the projects under construction, China International Engineering Consulting Corporation is entrusted to evaluate the projects under construction submitted by the local authorities. At present, the assessment work has been fully carried out and is expected to be completed in early November. The evaluation is mainly based on: first, the industrial restructuring guidance catalogue, cement, flat glass industry access conditions,

The main basis for the evaluation: First, the industrial structure adjustment guidance catalog, cement, flat glass industry access conditions, cement industry development policies. The second is the "Twelfth Five-Year" development plan for the building materials industry, the local economic and social development plan, and the local cement and flat glass industry structural adjustment plan (2013-2017). The third is the "Notice of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on Doing a Good Job in Capacity Replacement in Some Industries with Serious Overcapacity" and the "Notice of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on Matters Related to Capacity Replacement of Projects Under Construction in Some Industries with Serious Overcapacity."
